One more brother?
[edit]Géza Kertész, as far as I know, was a brother of Gyula´s, too. He played in Germany (Union Altona) for a short while in the early 1920ies as „Kertesz IV“. During that time, Gyula K. must have been Union´s manager-coach. Géza later proceeded to play in Italy. -- SpVggLieth (talk) 17:11, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- Any sources which show that? GiantSnowman 17:17, 14 February 2018 (UTC)
- Yes and no. Wikipedia (Italy) say they weren´t brothers. Austrian sources say they were and they had both left Hungary and joined Cercle Athlétique Metz in 1920. Hamburger Anzeiger and Neue Hamburger Zeitung have printed Union Altona team line-ups during the following year, 1921, including Kertész but no given name is given. So maybe Gyula began his first season in Germany as a player-manager and Géza wasn´t there, after all. Looks like a hard one. -- SpVggLieth (talk) 21:31, 16 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks a lot
[edit]..."Giant Snowman", for undoing what I wrote last night. I was going to add several sources tonight but now I´m afraid I´ve got better things to do. -- SpVggLieth (talk) 19:50, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
- Include your sources at the same time as you make the edit - why wait 24 hours (and counting...)? GiantSnowman 19:57, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
Tired? TV? The pub? Urgent phone call? Some website temporarily not working → i. e. no chance to look things up just now? Many possible reasons. Why not wait 24 hours? Who cares? You can stop counting, though. -- SpVggLieth (talk) 20:48, 17 July 2018 (UTC)
